According to Wikipedia, Peshawari refers to a person or item that is associated with Peshawar, a major city in Pakistan.
We are lucky to have a representative of Peshawar in Saskatoon! This should be a family-run restaurant so you can expect to receive warm friendly services.
What we ordered:
Chicken Naan (with 1 can of pop) $14.99
This naan is similar to a pizza. The portion is big for one person, with generous amount of chicken and cheese toppings. The bread was soft and fluffy too.
2 Chapli Kabab with Naan (Full) $19.99
This dish has the option between rice or 2pcs of naan. The kebab was very flavorful and a little spicy. It is almost like a burger patty.
Karak Chai, $1.99
The tea is served with sugar on the side so that we can customize the sweetness level. It tasted very similar to Indian Masala tea that we've tried.
The service was not very attentive. We actually wanted the single Chapli Kabab but the waiter took the order without asking if we want the single or full serving. We ended up having too much food and needing to take away 1 naan and 1 kabab. We also had to request for the tea to be served since they have yet to serve it even after we finished the food.
Overall, the food was tasty and the portion size was good. We'll most likely revisit but will be more mindful to confirm the orders with the waiter so that there will be no mistakes.
