Our Visit to Konga Cafe

Small cozy restaurant. We were a party of 14 but the food arrived shortly after we placed our orders.

Curry Goat $23.75
Cubes of goat stewed in a mild yellow Jamaican curry - falls off the bone.

This dish is on their Special Menu. We opted for roast potatoes and rice & peas as sides but it also came with a small salad of carrots and zucchini. The curry was flavorful and the goat meat was not gamey. Everyone gets a piece of Jamaican festival - a sweet, fried dough as appetizer.

We're looking forward to our next visit.
