Colorful settings and cozy ambience. They even cater to large groups.
What we ordered:
Poblano Bowls (with Chitpotle Beef), $18.50
Bed of sweet potato fries, street corn, poblano pepper, bean mix, charred grape tomato, salsa, crema, quesa fresco and guacamole. This dish came in a shallow bowl (more like a plate) despite its name. 😆 The sight of everything being pretty much mushed up on the plate may not look appetizing especially to someone with OCD but rest assured, they tasted fantastic. All the flavors come together very well.
LP Mexi-Bowls (with Chilied Pork), $16.50
Mexican rice, refried beans, salsa fresca, crema fresca, guacamole with chips. The presentation of this dish is less messy than the Poblano Bowl but the taste is also less flavorful. The chips tasted like original store bought ones with no flavor.
The portion didn't look much but we were feeling surprisingly full after the meal. Both bowls come with a choice of protein:
The servers were great, super friendly and accommodating to our requests (since we were a large group). Bill splitting was also a breeze, they grouped our orders correctly as if they knew who we came with! Definitely thumbs up for such seemingly small attention to details. Oh, according to the menu, most of the items have the option to be made gluten free and/or vegan. Very thoughtful indeed!
We'll definitely be back for the atmosphere and service.
