This restaurant is a keeper. Although it is one of those Asian restaurants where they generalized Asian cuisines (in this case, they serve Vietnamese, Thai and Chinese food under one roof), the food here is tasty and reasonably priced given the portion and the ambience.
What we ordered:
Stir Fry Beef and Vegetables $11.95
This rice dish came with lots of broccoli, carrots, onions, and thinly sliced beef alongside one fried spring roll. Suitable for someone who loves vegetables.
Jumbo Combo Noodles $9.95
This vermicelli noodle bowl comes with grilled pork, meat balls, shrimp and fried spring roll. It may look quite plain but the grilled pork was delicious!
Sizzling Crispy Ginger Beef $12.95
The beef was indeed crispy and the portion size was huge. This was the first time we visited, so we didn't realize you could actually order a single serving crispy ginger beef with rice (we only found out on our second visit). So we ended up ordering a bowl of white rice ($3) to go with this dish and had much leftover to takeaway.
Pad Thai $11.95
Vietnamese Iced Coffee (with condensed milk) $3.95
Stir fry rice noodles with shrimp and pork topped with eggs. We tried this on our second visit and in our opinion, it tasted nothing like pad thai in Thailand. This was sweet and non-spicy, most likely westernized to suit the local taste buds. With that said, it didn't taste bad, just different and didn't meet our expectations. Thumbs up for the large shrimps found in the dish.
The Vietnamese Coffee was tasty, with a kick but a tad expensive for its size.
Overall, still value for money and we would definitely be back when we are craving for Asian food. The menu is quite extensive and there are plenty other dishes that we could try.
